This recipe uses CV3 to regulate lower jiao, ST29 (Guilai) for lower abdomen, SP6 to nourish Yin, LR5 (Ligou) to regulate Qi, and BL32 to support pelvis. It supports inguinal hernia. Contraindications: Avoid SP6 in pregnancy.

Focus your awareness on the lower abdomen, where you can visualize the acupuncture points that will help bring balance and healing to the area affected by inguinal hernia. Begin with CV3, located just below your navel, about two finger widths down. This point helps regulate the lower jiao, the area associated with the reproductive and urinary organs, promoting harmony and function. Next, envision ST29, known as Guilai, located about two finger widths to the side of CV3. This point supports the lower abdomen, easing tension and discomfort, allowing energy to flow freely. Now, bring your attention to SP6, found on the inner side of your leg, about four finger widths above the ankle bone. Finally, visualize BL32, located in the sacral area, at the base of your spine. This point supports the pelvis, grounding you and providing stability to your lower body. As you breathe deeply, imagine a warm, healing light surrounding these points. With each inhale, visualize energy flowing into these areas, nurturing and balancing them. With each exhale, release any tension or discomfort associated with groin pain or bulging. Allow this healing energy to harmonize the organs connected to these points, fostering a sense of ease and comfort. Feel the lower abdomen relaxing and supporting your body naturally, as you let go of any burdens. Continue to breathe deeply, drawing in strength and balance, while exhaling any remaining discomfort. Picture your body returning to its perfect, normal state, where movement is fluid and pain is absent. Stay with this visualization, allowing the sensations of healing and support to wash over you, bringing peace and restoration to your lower abdomen.
